McJ Optics Warranty Policy
We Stand Behind Every Shot.
McJOptics warrants to the original purchaser that its riflescopes and red dot sights will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the original purchaser. This warranty is not a guarantee of product performance over an unlimited period, but a commitment to repair or replace a Product that fails due to a manufacturing defect.
Who's Covered
This Limited Lifetime Warrantee is extended only to the original purchaser who purchased the Product from an authorized dealer of McJOptics. Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) is required for all warranty service. This warranty is not transferable to subsequent owners.
What’s Covered
This warranty covers the repair or replacement, at the Company's sole discretion, of any product that is deemed to have a defect in materials or workmanship under normal use and service.
We will repair or replace any product that has defects in materials or workmanship for the duration of the product's usable life.
What’s Not Covered
The following are excluded from warranty coverage:

Normal Wear and Tear: The gradual deterioration of finishes, coatings, cosmetic appearance, and materials through normal use over time. This includes, but is not limited to, minor scratches on lenses, wear on anodizing, and the natural
- Abuse, Neglect, or Mishandling: This includes, but is not limited to:
o Damage from dropping, crushing, or impact.
o Evidence of tampering or unauthorized attempts to repair or modify the
Product.
o Failure to provide reasonable care and maintenance. - Accidental Damage: Damage from fire, flood, lightning, or other acts of nature.
- Improper Use: Using the Product in a manner for which it was not designed.
- Physical Damage: Any visible signs of physical trauma to the Product housing, lenses, or turrets. This includes cracked, chipped, or broken lenses and bent or broken housing.
- Batteries: Any batteries supplied with or for the Product are covered only by their manufacturer's warranty, typically 1 year.
- Electronics Failure in Extreme Conditions: Failure of electronic components
(e.g., in red dot sights) due to exposure to extreme temperatures, moisture
ingress from improper sealing (if due to abuse), or voltage spikes. - Loss of Zero: The need to re-zero the Product is considered a normal part of
use and is not covered by this warranty. - Cosmetic Damage: Scratches, dings, or finish wear that do not impair the
fundamental function of the Product.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
To request warranty service:
- Contact McJOptics Customer Service (info@mcjtools.com) to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Products received without an RMA number will be refused.
- Package the Product securely in its original packaging or equivalent, including the RMA number clearly visible on the outside of the box.
- Include a copy of the original dated sales receipt and a brief description of the alleged defect.
- Ship the Product, prepaid and insured, to the address provided by Customer
Service.
Our customer support team will respond within 2-3 business days with next steps. If a return is required, we’ll provide return instructions or a prepaid label. Once inspected, we will repair or replace the item and return it to you at no cost.
WARRANTY SERVICE REMEDIES
If a defect is confirmed and the claim is valid under the terms of this warranty, McJOptics will, at its sole option, either: (a) repair the Product using new or refurbished parts, (b) replace the Product with a new or refurbished product of the same or similar model, or (c) refund the original purchase price.LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
PROVIDED BY MCJOPTICS. MCJOPTICS MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT SHALL MCJOPTICS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF ANY WARRANTY OR OTHERWISE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS OR THE EXCLUSION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
